Locally owned and operated by Salem resident Lee Richardson, Chick-fil-A® Kuebler Gateway is more than a place to grab a meal—it’s a business built on the belief that great food, genuine hospitality, and active community involvement can make a city stronger.
Located at 2560 Kuebler Blvd SE, the restaurant has served the South Salem community since opening in June 2023. Open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and closed on Sundays, Chick-fil-A® Kuebler Gateway offers dine-in, drive-thru, curbside pickup, carry-out, catering, and delivery through platforms including the Chick-fil-A App, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Postmates.
From the moment guests arrive, the focus is on creating a welcoming, family-friendly experience—clean spaces, friendly faces, and a team that genuinely cares. While guests may come for the food, the goal is that they leave feeling valued.
Leadership Rooted in Service
As a local Restaurant Operator, Lee Richardson takes a hands-on approach to leadership, working alongside his team and prioritizing a culture grounded in faith, family, and service.
“Our goal isn’t just to run a successful restaurant,” Richardson shares. “It’s to be a positive force in Salem—for our guests, our team members, and the broader community.”
Chick-fil-A® Kuebler Gateway currently employs nearly 100 local team members, offering opportunities for growth, leadership development, and meaningful work in a supportive environment.

Community Impact with Real Investment
Community involvement is not a side project—it’s a responsibility. Since opening in June 2023, Chick-fil-A® Kuebler Gateway has invested more than $275,000 into organizations that strengthen families, fight food insecurity, and expand access to education. These contributions include:
- $125,000 to Family Building Blocks
- $25,000 to Union Gospel Mission
- $25,000 to Feeding America at the restaurant’s opening
- $100,000 to the University of Oregon scholarship fund
In addition to financial contributions, the restaurant regularly partners with local schools, nonprofits, and community organizations through fundraising events, food donations, and catering support.
Serving More Than a Meal
Chick-fil-A® Kuebler Gateway proudly serves freshly prepared food made with quality ingredients six days a week, including classic Chick-fil-A® favorites, breakfast options, salads, treats, and full-service catering for events of all sizes.
Guests are also invited to connect with the restaurant on social media (@cfakueblergateway on Facebook and Instagram) to stay up to date on community initiatives and seasonal offerings.
“If you’ve never visited us, we’d love to welcome you,” Richardson adds. “And if you’re a fellow business owner looking to collaborate and serve Salem well, my door is always open.”
Through intentional leadership, community investment, and a commitment to hospitality, Chick-fil-A® Kuebler Gateway continues to serve Salem with purpose—one guest, one meal, and one partnership at a time.
