In 2023, my colleague Taylor Meyer and I took over the operation of Stettler Supply Company in April while simultaneously running Ag Water Technologies. Venturing into a new sector of business and collaborating with a new team presented a steep growth curve, but looking back on the year, we’re thrilled with the progress we’ve made and the support we’ve been able to offer Willamette Valley farmers since the acquisition.
As we reflect on our first year managing Stettler Supply, we have much to celebrate. Among many accomplishments, we introduced the first-ever Briggs Boom to Oregon. This new technology demonstrates our commitment to innovation, adapting to industry shifts towards sustainable practices and irrigation-efficient technology. In 2024, we will continue to seek additional opportunities to enhance our operation and products to help our farmers and customers. Among them, we’re excited to reveal the 360 Rain autonomous irrigation unit, which will help customers minimize water and energy waste, while providing the optimum amount of coverage and efficiency to every acre.
The strategic move to join together Stettler Supply and Ag Water allowed us to combine the resources of two complementary businesses and build relationships with our teams and long-term customers. At the core of our success is our exceptional team, who share our mission to provide unparalleled service and solutions to our growers. Together, we’ve reached remarkable milestones, overcome challenges and continued to evolve and adapt alongside our industry.
As we move into the next year, our goal is to continue growing as a team and a community, improving each day and ultimately leaving a positive impact on every customer. We believe in supporting events that provide education and insight to farmers, recognizing the value of gathering people together to discuss current issues and challenges. At the end of the day, our mission is to build strong, lasting relationships with our customers while prioritizing water management through tailored irrigation solutions.
As the industry continues to evolve, we are committed to staying at the forefront. The farmers in the Willamette Valley continue to inspire us with their resilience and dedication to planning and growing for the future. We stand by our work, investing time and resources to achieve the highest level of success on every farm. We will filter out solutions and present new ideas for the betterment of our growers.
