Business of the Year Awards & All-Member Annual Meeting
The Salem Chamber’s annual Business of the Year Awards recognize member organizations that have demonstrated excellence in business and impactful community engagement.
This is also our time to recognize our volunteers and the graduates of our current Leadership Salem Class! Join us to cheer on our Leadership Salem grads as they complete their journey through this premier leadership development program.
Nominations & Award Categories
Each summer, our Business of the Year Awards recognize awardees in six categories:
- Business of the Year
- Employer of the Year
- New Business of the Year (opened in the last three years)
- Key Community Initiative or Nonprofit of the Year
- Agriculture, Processing, or Manufacturing Business of the Year
- Small Business or Entrepreneur of the Year (fewer than 20 employees)
Your nominee must be a current Salem Chamber member in good standing to be eligible for an award. If you are unsure about your nominee’s membership status or standing, utilize our Membership Directory or contact us at info@salemchamber.org.
The nomination window closes on April 30, 2026. Nominate your favorite organization by the deadline for them to be considered for an award this year!

2025 Business of the Year Awards & All-Member Meeting
On June 9, 2025, we concluded the 2024-2025 Forum Speaker Series season with our Business of the Year Awards and Annual All-Member Meeting at the Salem Convention Center!
Six exceptional companies and organizations were recognized for their excellence in business, but also for their outstanding community engagement efforts, which have made a lasting impact in the Salem area and beyond.

To conclude the 2023-2024 season of the Forum Speaker Series, the Salem Chamber hosted and presented its annual Business of the Year Awards and Annual All-Member Meeting at the Salem Convention Center on June 10, 2024.
Six exceptional companies and organizations were recognized for their excellence in business, but also for their outstanding community engagement efforts which have made a lasting impact in the Salem area and beyond.

For the final Forum Speaker Series event of the 2022-2023 season on June 12, 2023, the Salem Chamber hosted and presented its annual Business of the Year Awards and All-Member Meeting at the Salem Convention Center.
