The next event in our 2024 LEAD (Learn, Empower, Advance, Develop) Small Business Series welcomes two experienced health professionals to discuss the importance of maintaining mental health in business and in the workplace. Learn how to deal with the daily stressors of doing business and how to stay on top of your game and your work, even as outside pressures present unexpected challenges.

About Liz Hill:

Liz Hill is the Total Worker Health Adviser for SAIF Corporation. Liz has twenty-five-plus years of experience in professional health and safety and a short stint of global health work. Prior to working at SAIF, Liz worked in a variety of industries from oil and gas to higher education. Liz has a BS in Industrial Hygiene and a Master’s of Public Health. She has designation as a Certified Industrial Hygienist and a Certified Safety Professional. She is past chair of the American Industrial Hygiene Association’s (AIHA) Total Worker Health® Advisory Group and is serving on the Oregon Fire Service Health and Safety Collaborative. In 2022, she received a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Star Partner award.

About Dr. Michelle Rasmussen:

Dr. Michelle A. Rasmussen is a family medicine doctor in Salem, Oregon, and is affiliated with Salem Hospital. She received her medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Michelle A. Rasmussen has expertise in treating chronic diabetes, bursitis, and chronic high blood pressure, among other conditions.
