Salem Chamber Ambassadors

This devoted group of volunteers supports and represents the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce and improves member retention. Ambassadors are dedicated to making Salem a great place to live where businesses can prosper.

Ambassadors assist in membership retention by making contact with new Chamber members to relay information, identify concerns, gather feedback, and assist the member to feel welcome and comfortable at Chamber events.

Ambassador Application

Who may serve as a Salem Chamber Ambassador?
Chosen by the Ambassadors leadership committee, these individuals exhibit the highest degree of professionalism and embrace an attitude that is positive, supportive, and respectful to all people. Ambassadors purposefully engage individual members in a welcoming fashion and always seek to raise awareness to the vast organizational programming and events within the Salem Chamber.

Requirements to Apply:
Must be a member in good standing for a minimum of one-year with second year dues paid. Share and exhibit a passion for the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce and its missional work to promote economic security across the Salem business community. Interested individuals must be nominated to become a Chamber Ambassador by an existing Salem Chamber Ambassador. Individual will be evaluated based on their existing engagement in regular Chamber activities and how they showcase their leadership skills and initiative.
