About Leadership Salem
Leadership Salem is a premier community leadership program designed for current and emerging business, nonprofit, and public-sector leaders who are invested in the future of the Salem area.
Participants receive a comprehensive, insider overview of the region—its opportunities, challenges, and systems—while building meaningful, career-long relationships with peers and decision-makers across the community.
What to Expect
Leadership Salem is a strategic cohort experience featuring 10 one-day sessions, each focused on a critical aspect of our community.
Through exclusive tours, expert panels, and engaging speakers, participants connect directly with leaders who shape Salem.

Format: 10 one-day sessions
Enrollment: May 1-June 15, 2026
Applications: Submitted online via the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce website
Tuition Benefit: For Salem Chamber members, select membership levels allow a portion of membership dues to be applied toward program tuition
