About Salem Emerging Leaders
Salem Emerging Leaders is a program of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce designed for professionals 40 years old and younger who want to build meaningful connections, grow as leaders, and engage with Salem’s business and nonprofit community.
Through a variety of engaging events, participants expand their networks, learn directly from community leaders, and stay connected to what’s happening in Salem.

Coffee Social
Monthly | Last Thursday of Each Month
Start your day by connecting with fellow emerging professionals at local Salem establishments. Each Coffee Social features a guest speaker or interactive activity, offering opportunities to learn, share ideas, and build relationships in a relaxed morning setting.
After Hours
Quarterly | Casual & Social
After Hours events are designed to be fun, informal, and engaging—perfect for unwinding while meeting new people.
Past events have included:
• Salem Emerging Leaders Night with the Salem Capitals Basketball team

Quarterly | Insightful Conversations
Lunch with Leaders offers direct access to a key leader from business, government, or the nonprofit sector. Participants enjoy meaningful conversation, real-world insights, and inspiration from those shaping our community.
