The Bite & Brew to Host Fourth of July 2018!
Salem is in for an exciting change for the Fourth of July this year, so you may want to stay in town for the national holiday.
Traditionally hosted by the City of Salem, the Bite & Brew of Salem will be running the festivities this year! The Bite & Brew will run from July 4-8, 2018 at Riverfront Park with free admission on the Fourth of July, as well as on Sunday, July 8th.
This partnership is a win/win for both the City and The Bite & Brew, and is an example of two sectors working together to improve a service for the community. Entertainment is The Bite & Brew’s area of expertise, and kicking off the five-day event with a national holiday is sure to attract new attendees to the event.
“I think it is great for the entire city,” said Jason Unruh, President of the Hoopla Association and Event Manager of The Bite & Brew of the partnership. “I am driven to create lifelong, memorable experiences for people. To combine The Bite with a traditional holiday that is special to many is important to me and the organization. I think we can knock it out of the park this year.”
To respect the City of Salem’s wishes, the first day of The Bite & Brew admission will be free of charge to all participants. The City is paying for the fireworks.
The Bite & Brew is part of the Hoopla Association, a Chamber member, along with Salem Winter Brewfest and Hoopla.
