Debra Herring Studios and Brighton will give back to community by Collecting Handbags for Women in Need
Women Are Invited to Donate a Gently Used Handbag and Receive $25 – $50 toward A New Brighton Handbag
Salem, OR, (July 14, 2017) – Debra Herring Studio and Brighton® are extending an invitation to join them in the Handbag Trade-In July 14-23. This is their annual campaign to collect and deliver gently used handbags to women who have been struggling. Brighton’s goal in this nationwide charity drive is to donate 15,000 bags to 15,000 women in need.
Many women have the good fortune to own many handbags, and have at least one they no longer carry. That bag could bring joy to someone less fortunate. As Brighton’s owner and founder Jerry Kohl explains, “The simple gift of a handbag can lift a woman’s spirits and help give her confidence when she is interviewing for a much-needed job.”
Look into your closet, gather up gently used handbags of any brand and bring them to Debra Herring Studio, at 4093 Commercial ST SE in Salem between July 14 and 23, 2017 to receive $25 to $50 off a brand-new Brighton bag.
Boutique owner Debra Herring said, “I love partnering with a generous company like Brighton. The donated bags will be distributed to Union Gospel Mission’s Simonka Place, Grace House and the Center for Hope and Safety. Each of those nonprofits have done so much for women in our community.”
