For the last several years, Doneth and Sturdivant Wealth Advisors, in collaboration with the Kroc Center, has sponsored families in need by buying and wrapping gifts to later distribute during the Christmas season. They invited their clients to participate in the event by advising them to “spend money that wasn’t theirs to help people they would never meet.” These acts of selfless giving, in a season full of them, are trademarks of Salem’s business community; we always look to support our neighbors in friendship and commerce. With so many uncertainties present in our nation, a light of hope during this unique year is one we should all celebrate.
