The period for employers to submit their 2022 EEO-1 Component 1 Report Data closes on Tuesday, December 5th. As a reminder, the EEO-1 Component 1 Report must be submitted to the EEOC on an annual basis by all private sector employers with 100 or more employees, and federal contractors with 50 or more employees that:
- Are prime contractors or first–tier subcontractors; and
- Have a contract, subcontract, or purchase order amounting to $50,000 or more; or
- Serve as a depository of Government funds in any amount, or is a financial institution which is an issuing and paying agent for U.S. Savings Bonds and Notes
Covered employers must submit workforce demographic data, including data by job category and sex and race or ethnicity, to the EEOC. If you are a covered employer and have not submitted a report, make sure to do it by the December 5th deadline.
Employers who submit their EEO-1 report should keep a copy of the report record for at least one year for audit purposes.
