Today, Salem Chamber Leadership took Mayor Chuck Bennett, Salem City Council President Hoy, Councilor Stapleton, and Director Rutherford on a ride along the Willamette River.
They discussed and identified future development possibilities for Front Street, such as commercial uses, park access, walking and biking paths, and a prime location for building multi-family housing along the river. They also discussed areas throughout the greater Salem region that are fertile for creating vibrant and livable communities for future families and residents.
