Meeting Community Vision
Our Forum Speaker Series featured Dr. Jessica Howard, President & CEO of Chemeketa Community College. Dr. Howard spoke on the future of Chemeketa, and how the community college will continue to work to meet the vision of its community.
Dr. Howard also spoke on growing educational programs in healthcare, STEM, creatives and arts management, and business services as automation begins to replace many jobs, as well as executing a plan to make Chemeketa an accessible place for lifelong learning.
Spirit of Salem Award Goes to Terry Kuenzi
Our Spirit of Salem award winner was Terry Kuenzi. Kuenzi, CPA and Principle of Kuenzi and Company, has served on the Salem Chamber Ag Committe for over 25 years. In additions to contributions towards the AgriBusiness Banquet, Terry served six years on the Salem Chamber Board of Directors, including a number of years as its Treasurer.
