Are you an experienced and energetic leader established in the Salem community, proficient in forming collaborative relationships, and dedicated to improving health and wellness on a community level? Do you enjoy using your established network to affect systems-level changes that will lower health disparities across Marion and Polk Counties and improve opportunities for health to be embedded at the community level?
If so, Northwest Human Services wants to talk to you! We are currently seeking a Health Instigator ready to tackle issues that contribute to poor health trends across populations that are likely caused by social determinants of health. This person will work with state and local government, local non-profits, community leaders, and community members to facilitate health and wellness practices, concepts, and initiatives on a community level.
Our preferred candidate will not only have an established network of contacts in the Salem area, and understand the health disparities with Marion and Polk Counties. The candidate will be a self-starter and global thinker, interested in creating change and leading processes that contribute to improving community health and wellness. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are strongly preferred.
