The morning of July 7th from 7:00 to 8:30 AM, the Salem Chamber will continue its series on candidates for statewide office. This series includes in person interviews and an opportunity to review questionnaires submitted by the candidates.
The meeting will take place at the Willamette Heritage Center in the Mill Building’s Spinning Room.

Candidates being interviewed during this session include:
Patti Milne, Candidate for House District 22 (confirmed) see completed questionnaire
Teresa Alonso Leon, Candidate for House District 22 (confirmed) see completed questionnaire
Representative Bill Post, Incumbent seeking reelection in House District 25 (confirmed) see completed questionnaire
Sharon Freeman, Candidate for House District 25 (unable to attend) see completed questionnaire
The purpose of this series of Public Policy Sessions is to introduce candidates to Salem Chamber members, and to provide the information and background necessary to potentially make organizational endorsements. This in person interview is integral as Salem Chamber members and volunteer leadership consider these potential endorsements.
This session aligns with Willamette Heritage Center’s current exhibit, “The Art of Politics”, which showcases local political cartoons and campaign pieces from the late 19th and 20th centuries. Members in attendance are encouraged to take a tour of the exhibit at the close of the session.
Public Policy Sessions are a benefit of Salem Chamber membership, and made available to all members and their employees.
