Check out the interview with Victoria Sanders, Maid to Perfection co-owner and new Chamber member, below:
How did you start your business?
I started working for a property management group. From there, I took things my own direction and started picking up a few clients here and there. Business started booming during “move out” season (early summer). We took on four employees, my husband and me – so six of us total.
What areas do you service?
We work in a thirty mile radius from Corvallis to Salem to Brownsville.
Who are your clients?
We specialize in residential. Reoccurring service, move-in and move-outs for real estate agents and apartment tenants too. If you are moving out of an apartment, call us and we can help you clean it!
What makes you the most excited about being a member of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce?
The power of people. There are so many connections here.
Is there anyone you are most looking to connect with?
I want to connect with other in-home service providers such as electricians, HVAC workers and plumbers. We can all work together to build clientele for each of our businesses.
What are some of your passions and how do they inspire you day-to-day?
My passion is to help people. It seems like it would be a task to clean someone else’s house, but it really brings me joy to do our customers a favor. We always love making our customers happy because we know it makes a difference in their lives. Our slogan says, “Giving your life back one hour at a time,” because it is our mission to ensure you can spend more time doing what you love.
What is one tip you could give our members about how to keep their houses cleaner?
Have Maid to Perfection come by!
What is one thing you want the people of Salem to know about your business?
People are first. We are in the cleaning and maid service business, but when it comes down to it, we are about people and relationships. Ultimately, our true service is customer service. We have a culture with our staff, where we live by the 3 “I’s”, if it’s not Illegal, Immoral, or Impossible we love to help our clients in more ways than tidying their home.
Do you have any current specials?
Right now, we have an expectant mom special that focuses on floors and baseboards – areas where babies are more likely to touch. The special will go through the spring.
