The 2016 Forum Speaker Series was, in a word, epic.
OMSI CEO Nancy Stueber brought the science and industry museum to Salem for a talk, and the room was impressed at the statewide reach and impact of the 70 year old organization.
Stueber made a point to bring up the fact that OMSI “isn’t the Portland Museum of Science and Industry, it’s the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.” She underscored this by highlighting life changing youth camps in the far corners of the state that OMSI orchestrates. In addition, “Science Pubs” are fusing craft beverages and cutting edge discussions regarding industry and science all across Oregon to a watering hole near you (and, mark my words, one will be in Salem in the near future).
The Salem Chamber Forum Speaker Series is a remarkable fusion of education and network building, and we commit to bringing content and speakers to you that you won’t get anywhere else in Salem.
Lunch is always excellent, and you’re guaranteed to deepen both your relationships and understanding of our region and state.
The October Forum (10/10) will feature Congressman Kurt Schrader, an engaging national policy maker. Please help us welcome Congressman Schrader to Salem for an intimate discussion.
If you’re a premium member or above, your lunch is included in your membership. If you’re not a premium member, you can RSVP ahead of time to make sure you get in, or you can purchase a ticket at the door.
The Forum Speaker Series is the best way to spend lunch in Salem, and we hope you can join us.
