With only five days until the end of the fiscal year and no clear path forward on funding the government beyond Sunday, it is likely that a government shutdown is imminent. The United States Chamber of Commerce is working to impress upon lawmakers the economic damage that a shutdown would do to American businesses and urging them to do what is necessary to pass a continuing resolution.
