Later this week, ballots will begin to arrive in Salem and Keizer mailboxes that will determine whether or not businesses payroll will be taxed in a new way.

No local measure specific to private sector businesses will have the ability to extract such a high amount of resources from our Salem/Keizer economy. As people in business, we need to “leave it all on the field.” This truly is a time of all hands on deck, and here are some ways you can help:

Sign waving: There will be 8 teams of at least 20 people at various intersections in Salem and Keizer holding yard signs and waving at drivers. These have been very well received, and we’ll be doing this October 16th, 23rd and 30th at 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM for approximately 1 hour each time. Please help! Click here to secure your spot.

Phone bank: Through our campaign research, we have indicated those that are likely to vote in this election. A phone bank will be hosted to “get out the vote” Tuesday, October 20th beginning at 6:30 PM. To volunteer time with our phone bank team, please click here.

Thank you for your commitment to our private sector economy and job growth in our region.
