Join us for the 2025 SAIF Agri-Business Banquet! This is our annual time to celebrate and honor the often unsung backbone of our region’s economy, the agricultural sector. This event welcomes the ag community and its partners for a night of entertainment, education, and powerful connections.
Each year, we also recognize an outstanding Future Farmers of America student for leadership in shaping the future of the industry. This fun night honors a special part of Oregon’s history and culture while looking forward to its future.
About Our Speaker:
Jeanne Carver is a world-renowned and award-winning agricultural entrepreneur and author. As a proud rancher since the 1980s, Carver is best known for her innovations in the industry, as a global voice for Responsible Animal Fiber Standards, and for her wool product being used in Ralph Lauren’s Team U.S.A. Olympic uniforms since 2014.
The SAIF Agri-Business Banquet is a celebration of the agricultural community and its impact on the mid-Willamette Valley. Nearly 12% of all jobs in Oregon are connected to farming and ranching, and about 97% of those farms and ranches are family owned and operated. Many have been in the same family for at least 100 years. (Source: Oregon Farm Bureau) This rich and proud history is honored through special entertainment with a message.

The evening included a cocktail reception, an impassioned speech by Oregon FFA Vice President and PGE’s Powering the Future Scholarship Recipient Kylie Temple, live music provided by Roundhouse Band, a keynote presentation on Oregon’s hazelnut industry by George Packing Company Hazelnuts President Larry George, and a fantastic event emcee in Jordan Truitt, Principal Broker at First Commercial Real Estate.
