The City of Salem’s multi-year project, Our Salem, is intended to update the Salem Area Comprehensive Plan to reflect current and expected development, as well as inform future decisions for the Salem Area. With 60,000 people expected to be added to the Salem population by 2035, there’s a golden opportunity to better plan for where and how Salem grows.
Beginning last year, the first phase produced the report card to evaluate whether or not Salem was headed in the right direction.
Join the community during a City of Salem public workshop on the Our Salem project to share how you envision Salem in the future. Previous work resulted in this story map. Workshops start next week:
