On Monday, January 9, 2023, the Forum Speaker Series welcomed Oregon Business & Industry President & CEO Angela Wilhelms for a look ahead at 2023 and some of the key issues Oregon businesses will likely need to face and/or navigate this year.
While much of the legislative impact on businesses is still unknown as the Oregon Legislative session gets underway, topics from this Forum included inflation, the tax burden on Oregon businesses, and Oregon’s competitiveness nationally.
The event also presented departing Oregon Representative Raquel Moore-Green with the Chamber’s monthly Spirit of Salem Award for her years of dedicated service to her constituents and our region’s business community.
