The 2023 legislature adjourned on Sunday, June 25, bringing the 82nd Legislative Session to a conclusion. With close to 3,000 bills introduced, record revenue, and a record-breaking long walkout, this session was unique in many ways. Now that the work has concluded, implementation of the bills passed will begin, new state agency budgets will be enacted on July 1, and planning begins for the 2024 session.
