Salem is fortunate that Dr. Abby Heppner decided to call Salem home.

A Midwest transplant, Dr. Heppner started her chiropractic practice at the deepest valley in the economic downturn. Since then, her practice is a bustling enterprise employing over 10 professionals. Dr. Heppner has planted the seeds and grown a thriving business two time zones away from her home town before the age of 35.

But that’s just the beginning.

When Abby moved to Salem, she came with a desire to invest herself in her community and the people around her. She’s hit the mark with both efforts by being a strong advocate of volunteerism and continuing education of her team and herself. A notable achievement of Abby’s is being a founding volunteer behind Salem YoungPros’ “Leadership Development Series”, which fast tracks emerging leaders toward business and personal development.

Salem Chamber Past President Brent DeHart, Salem YoungPros Leadership Team members and a cadre of volunteers surprise Dr. Abby Heppner with the “Outstanding Young Professional” award

Abby is a high achiever professionally and personally as a wife to Rob and mom to her toddler Eli.

Dr. Heppner, thank you. For your commitment to those around you and your willingness to help Salem be a better place than it was when you first called it home. You embody the true spirit of Salem’s Outstanding Young Professional.

Abby will be honored the evening of the First Citizen Awards Banquet.
