Last Friday’s First Citizen Awards Banquet was a huge success thanks to monumental efforts of volunteers, past recipients, Salem Convention Center staff (the surf and turf was on point) and emcee’s LeAnn Keim and Curt Arthur.

Salem’s First Citizen George Jennings summed it up nicely when he shared with us “many people told me this was the best First Citizen they had been to anywhere. I second that emotion.”
Nearly 500 attendees had an excellent evening celebrating servant leadership at its highest level in Salem. On behalf of the Board of Directors and professional staff at the Salem Chamber – thank you. It’s an honor to help the First Citizen Awards Banquet come together every year.
