At our monthly Business Advocacy Meeting on June 5, the business community received an update on the City of Salem’s current budget situation and the new budget forecast following the passage of the Livability Levy from the May Special Election.
Before the City’s budget update, we also heard from our contracted lobbyist about the latest news from the 2025 Legislative Session, which is scheduled to conclude on June 29.
The meeting also included an update on paid parking coming to downtown Salem.
