At our monthly Business Advocacy Meeting on August 6, 2026, the business community learned about the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit from the Principal at Statecraft, Hugh Ady, and received an update on the current status of the Detroit Lake drawdown from Marion County Commissioner Kevin Cameron.
Attendees received updates from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Katelyn Harrison, who provided an update on business and economic development initiatives.
Lastly, a representative from Verrus, Jeff Bladen, the head of Energy and Policy, also joined us to provide an informational update on its Oakline at Mill Creek Data Center Project.
