On December 12, 2023, the Salem Chamber’s Forum Speaker Series welcomed six incredible leaders from local youth nonprofit organizations to talk about the critical partnerships they share with the Salem business community and the impact businesses have on the work they do. Watch the December Forum above.

During the season of giving and gratitude, the forum presented a great opportunity and time to talk about community impact and the significant contributions of businesses, in dollars and volunteer hours, to our nonprofits.

Panel:

Patrice Altenhofen, Family Building Blocks Executive Director
Alison Kelley, Liberty House CEO
Sue Bloom, Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk Counties Executive Director
Tiffany Bulgin, Isaac’s Room Co-Founder
Tim Sinatra, YMCA of Marion and Polk Counties CEO
Rhonda Wolf, United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley CEO

The luncheon also featured the Chamber’s monthly Spirit of Salem Award presentation, which recognized Salem Main Street Association members Angie Oven, Derek Gilbert, and Jim Vu for their incredible work organizing and coordinating the Downtown Salem Holiday Parade (November 26, 2022).
