On July 26, 2022, the Salem Chamber hosted a special Public Policy Forum on Oregon’s Paid Family and Medical Leave law (going into effect in January 2023) and how it will impact Salem-area businesses.
We were joined by guest experts from the employee benefits field, Tyler Kreig from The Standard and Shannon Connor from RiskPoint Insurance Advisors, to learn more about the ins and outs of this legislation and what employees and employers can expect. Mr. Kreig gave our audience a very thorough walkthrough of this law, leaving everyone with some useful information that they can apply to their own business planning for next year.
