Salem, OR (Dec 13, 2018) – Priscilla Glidewell of Budget Blinds of the Mid-Willamette Valley received the 2018 Associate of the Year Award from the Home Builders Association of Marion & Polk Counties. The annual awards ceremony was held at Illahe Hills Country Club on December 11, 2018.

The 2017 award winner, Randy Melton, of Melton’s Heating and Air Conditioning, introduced Glidewell saying, “She is a shining example of the type of person who gives back to the community…and is a shining example of why we give this award.”

Melton added that Glidewell founded a foster home caring for 27 children over five years. She employs clients of Garten Services and contributed blinds to all local Habitat for Humanity Homes. She has been involved in the Ford Family Foundation and Safe Families and is also a faithful contributor to the association’s new product house. Glidewell was recognized earlier this year with a 2018 New Product House Diamond Sponsorship.
Furthermore, Glidewell was featured this year in the national #BudgetBlindsCares ad campaign, which recognized her outstanding philanthropy and commitment to the community.
