Students who seek careers and the businesses seeking career-minded students have the opportunity to come together at Chemeketa Community College’s 2nd annual Professional Development Day in Woodburn.
Different than a job fair, Professional Development Day features businesses seeking out students looking not just for employment but job training, apprenticeships and education training to develop a career.
The event will be held over two days, Feb. 13 & 14, at the Chemeketa Woodburn Center, 120 E Lincoln St. Over 20 businesses and organizations will be present each day. Tuesday, Feb. 13 will feature government and public services, while Wednesday, Feb. 14 will feature private industry.
