On January 26 Salem Contractors Exchange held their Annual Membership Meeting at the Grand Hotel in Salem, OR. Over fifty members were in attendance. Two new directors were voted in, Araceli Carlos from Dalke Construction and Dan Brown from Carlson Testing. The Officers for 2018 will be Peter Shanks, White Oak Construction, Past President, Chad Elliott, Rich Duncan Construction, President, Susan Wood, Salem Heating and Sheet Metal, Secretary, and Chad Emmert, Aldrich Advisors, Treasurer. New services at the Exchange include tear resistant and water resistant large format copies and employment opportunities listed on the website. Sponsoring the event were KARM Safety, Thomas Kay Floors, White Oak Construction, TD Electric, and United Rentals. The Raffle raised $720 for the SCE Scholarship Fund. Raffle donations came from United Rentals, Star Rentals, TD Electric, Susan Wood, Advantage Construction Group, Stitch Witch and What-If USA.
