On March 20, 2024, Salem Mayor Chris Hoy delivered his second annual State of the City address at the Salem Convention Center.
During the event, which was hosted by the City of Salem in partnership with Salem City Club and the Rotary Club of Salem, Mayor Hoy touched on several key issues facing the City, including homelessness and the City’s budget. Mayor Hoy also cited some major achievements for Salem, such as the successful launch of commercial air service and commercial developments downtown and elsewhere.
